I am also a descendent of the Peterson family on my dad’s side.I am also South African and would like to know if any one knew my grand-dad Daniel Peterson(aka.Danny or Gollie) who immigrated from Port Elizabeth, South Africa to London after the second world war. As far as I know he worked for Shell International in the UK.

Please help with details of Philip McLean b 1897
born in Scotland and married in NZ to Ada May McDonald at Kiwitahi Morrinsville New Zealand.
Philip McLean died in NZ.
I am looking for his bith place,date and family. Also a Susan Parker his niece from Scotland, who put an article in the NZ newspaper looking for Uncle, Philip McLean. Do hope you can help.

Thanks for posting this information. My son just graduated with an honours degree in physics and is heading off for his masters in the fall. In a converstaion we were having the other day, he was wondering where he got such a strong interest in physics. Now I can tell him it is in the genes.
